This is part 3 of our three part series on human trafficking. In this  episode we talk with Starr Davis, Found and CEO of The Starr Institute  (TSI, Inc.). Starr Davis is dedicated to serving as a resource and  beacon of hope for youth. Starr earned an undergraduate degree in Mass  Communications from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor degree  from North Carolina Central University School of Law. A native  Kentuckian, Starr’s tumultuous upbringing made her resilient, passionate  and caring. Starr’s passion to ensure that no child suffer in silence  led to the creation of The Starr Institute, Inc. (TSI). TSI is committed  to educate, engage and empower youth and the community about child sexual abuse and exploitation. Starr believes that if we make awareness  and prevention a priority and not just a reactionary response to an  outcry, then we will be in a better position to protect our children and  youth from abuse.
