Financial Literacy is extremely valuable information worth sharing with our children. Unfortunately, most people do not take the time to educate their children on this topic. In this episode, we discuss the importance of financial literacy and leaving our children in a way that they will be able to go further than us, faster than us.&nbsp;

Black Mom Diaries Episode 2.14 Chompin' it Up

I was raised by an old school lady that told me I had to be better, do better and work harder than other people to get the same opportunity based on the color of my skin. I wasn’t allowed to explore, nor was I given the space to fail or make mistakes. I was taught to stay quiet, not draw any attention to myself and not ask questions. 
Times have changed, and so has the way Black Moms want to raise our children. Lots of us feel this way, but change can be challenging.
