"Before we begin this journey, we have to acknowledge where we are. For generations, the narrative of the Black man has been written by pens that didn't belong to us. We’ve been framed by our struggles, defined by our trauma, and often, muted by a world that preferred our silence over our truth.
But history is not just something that happened to us; it is something we carry. And for too long, that weight has been carried in isolation. We realized that there was a void—a need for a space where we don't have to wear the mask. A space where 'strength' isn't measured by how much pain you can suppress, but by how much truth you can tell."
