Hello dear readers and now listeners! I have been toying with the idea of this (or some version of a podcast) for years and hesitating for many reasons:

* Will anyone even listen to what I have to say?

* Do I have the right equipment?

* Am I funny and interesting enough?

I still don’t have answers to these, but something I do know is that there are plenty of uninteresting, unfunny dickheads out there that didn’t hesitate to start their podcasts anyway, so why shouldn’t I risk being a dickhead too?

In my first episode, I talk about the card that has been giving me existential writer’s angst for three months now, the Seven of Pentacles. I also get into some lighthearted childhood trauma, being a hypocritical advice giver, and I say “and so” a lot. I’m sorry, I’ll work on that (as well as the audio quality - the $40 tiny mic was maybe not the best investment and recording in QuickTime and uploading with no edits was *a choice* but guess what? I’m learning and I’m proud).
