scottie beam is me and i am her! because whattt the heck! i thought i was the only one feeling this way about a past love. y’all gave great advice on letting go and allowing love again that intensely! i have to decide to be able to have that in my life. and i felt that “i still to this day will pick that man” because YESSS! even in all my everything! but i’m def needing to make that decision because yes he taught me and gave the standard of what i desire but i have to allow someone else to be that and not hold on to him.

Is it gonna be okay if i start working on a podcast and call it white girls podcast?

I stumbled across this podcast after seeking advice from Dr. Google for podcasts by Black Women. I felt all the feels of the “Growth” episode. The title caught my eyes and I’m like yes let me listen to this episode. Everyone were talking about their Summer experiences and at the end or within the storytelling there were lessons that spoke to me! My new favorite podcast and I’m sharing with my friends ASAP! Now time to catch up on all of the other episodes. Thanks for getting me through my work day and speaking life into me. Confirming all of my positive thoughts and confirmations.

This podcast is strictly them updating the listeners. There are no segments, advice letters, hot topics, nothing. On top of that the show isn’t even consistent. I tried, but I’m over it. I can get updates from my actual friends.

I didn’t realize that this podcast would literally help my day go by and with so many laughs! I’ve decided I shouldn’t listen to the podcast at work because I’ll be laughing so much and I don’t need them folk’ looking at me crazy! 🤣🤣 You ladies are honest, real with each other and if you’re ever in Dallas let a sista know! I just started listening and can definitely related to these ladies. I am only on episode 2 and can’t wait to catch up to the current season.

I’ve been listening to these beautiful women since they started the Podcast. I’ve laughed, cried and exhaled listening to them. It’s like being in a room full of women and feeling like you’ve known them your entire life.

I absolutely love this podcast! I’m always bragging on it to my friends! I love how these women make me feel normal and are so transparent about being a black woman in society. I love how they all have very unique different perspectives and no one is overpowering another. They are so transparent and vulnerable on the episodes I love it! My favorite has to be GRATEFUL. I’ve listened to it 3 times and cried so many times. I love y’all ladies!

Checked into a few episodes starting with Ego episode and was surprised to hear these ladies speak so fully on the topics while allowing each diverse perspective to shine through! So much transparency and Gia’s hair comments were spot on! She spoke a part of my life Ive never fully articulated!! Anddd with five people, no one was over powering! Beyond impressed! I never used my podcast on my phone, thank God for my best friend putting me on. I have absolutely fell in love!

I found out about BGP a couple weeks ago. And honestly listening to these women have helped navigate through so many things I, I wish I could explain them all. Keep doing what you’re doing girls. Trust your voices are out here helping us black girls keep our sanity.

I found this podcast a few months ago. I started from the very first episode and made my way up. I literally loveeeeee everything about this podcast. The plethora of topics that are covered, the multiple perspectives, the real emotions, EVERYTHING IS AMAZING. Keep going up ladies 🙏🏽✨

I love these girls! I feel like I’m hanging out with my best friends 💗 They go through the same things I do. It’s so comforting knowing than I’m not the only young woman going through this growth journey.

I really do love this podcast. They are relatable and touch on interesting topics. It’s just really HARD TO HEAR!!!! Seems like Rebekah and Saphira are never on a mic and are whispering in the background. I listen while commuting on loud NYC transit and I can’t hear y’all! I’m either putting volume DOWN for Alicia and Gia who both project into a mic, or putting my volume UP painfully trying to hear the others in the background. Honestly I stopped tuning in because it’s frustrating. Please get mics for everyone!!!!
