The Orioles made a number of decisions this week, including:

Second Base: Is Cedric Mullins OK?



TELL US EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE.



It’ll be fine, right?



Third Base: RISPy Business



It’s been discussed ad nauseum, but that’s because it’s still happening: the Orioles are not hitting with runners in scoring position. It would be comical if it were not so heartbreaking. When will the madness end? And will it do so before the pitching falters?



Home Plate: The pitching has been… actually, really good.



While the Orioles have failed to hit, they have put on a clinic on the mound. Starters (OK, openers at this point) have been fortunate not to get roughed up, and the bullpen has looked really good. There are so many plus arms in the bullpen that are showing that, when used properly, they can be dominant pieces.



The real question is how long can they last before getting overused?
