Leading Off
This episode was recorded on June 21st, but released late because Jake is an idiot. Scott was out of town on business and Friend of the Program, Zach Wilt, stepped in to save the day.
This episode is presented as it was recorded, and delivered out of order in our (sub) standard of quality. Enjoy!

Around the Bases
First Base: Saturday’s game was a special kind of unpleasant
We kind of wish that this had happened on Father’s Day, so that it could be called the Father’s Day Fiasco, or something. Another terrible game in a lost season, at the hands of an AL East foe. Just… terrible.
Second Base: At least the Diamondbacks are worse?
We discuss whether it is better that another team is the standard-bearer for terrible baseball, or whether the Orioles are simply just robbing themselves of the #1 overall pick in the 2022 draft.
Third Base: Is New Mike Wright just saying the right things? Are these really the right things?
Jake may have read way too much into some comments from Mike Wright – er, Shawn Armstrong – on some of his reasons for remaining with the organization. Are sabremetrics and biomechanics a differentiator for those on the outside of the organization looking in, and are they making a real impact on those within?
Home Plate: Rooting for the Orioles out of town
We ask Zach Wilt what it is like rooting for the Orioles in Florida, and ask him to do the impossible: defend the Trop.
