Leading Off

We missed a whole week of Orioles Baseball… but did we miss anything? Unless you count a massive loss streak, the answer is no. No, we did not miss anything.

This Week on the Twitters

The Orioles are playing so bad their games should be on MASN 3— Matt Kremnitzer (@mattkremnitzer) May 30, 2021

I remember an era, long ago, when the Baltimore Orioles actually won a baseball game— Céspedes Family BBQ (@CespedesBBQ) May 31, 2021

It’s hard to endure yet the Astros wretched stretch 2009-20014 had them bottom out in standings, attendance & TV ratings only to emerge as a perennial power. Again: #rebuilds are brutal (& there’s no guarantee they work as planned ⚾️ @wjz https://t.co/Fr0KxqFdcx pic.twitter.com/z7qqfAxhgD— Mark Viviano (@MarkWJZ) May 31, 2021

Good News / Bad News

Look, it would be easy to beat up on a team that has lost 14 straight games and 22 of 24, but we feel that it’s important that we also pay attention to the good news stories that are happening in Orioles Baseball right now. We go back and forth between Good News and Bad News items to bring you a full picture and appreciation of the team.

Truth or Truth

When good news is hard to come by, it’s important that we be honest with ourselves – and one another. Also, when content is hard to come by, it’s important that we rip off late night bits.

Therefore, Jake and Scott take turns getting to the truth of the matter in an Orioles edition of Truth or Truth

Fantasy Boss

Jake wins this week’s Fantasy Boss. Two weeks ago (no show on 5/24) the category was over/under 2.5 stolen bases, and Jake took the under. There were in fact ZERO stolen bases that week.

That takes the contest to 4-2, in Jake’s favor, and he’s up to pick the category again.
