Show notes
This is the first in our Collaboration series. When we planned this episode we didn’t plan on it becoming a series. As we discovered doing this podcast, this topic is too big and there are too many things to talk about. In this first episode we outline the different types of collaboration; BIM Meetings, file transfer, Revit central file sync, and online meetings. We discuss each type and what each type is best used for.Bill talks about the drawbacks of using Dropbox for synchronizing Revit Central files and why I seems to work at first. Please leave a comment about what you would like us to discuss in future episodes in this series.Show Links:BIM-Workshops.comU.S. CADWrench WednesdayAutodesk Point LayoutTrimble Field PointsLearn how to use a MacAnnotation Scaling White paperRevitFTPDropboxBuzzsawA360 GlueRevit ServerBluebeam StudioGotoMeetingWebExClarityDisi The BIM cat!!!Podcasting Oakland Style http://bimthoughts.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/S1E3BIMCave.mp3 | Open Player in New Window
