Being a follower of Christ involves action. A faith in Christ is an active faith. Jesus called us to be a follower, disciple, and witness. These are all measurable, you either are these or you're not. We are here to be the body of Christ and represent Him to this lost and dying world. In this passage James is reminding us that it's important to do more than just talk the talk, but to also walk the walk.
