I went to the grocery store on Thanksgiving and I expressed my thanks to the cashier for working on Thanksgiving Day and taking time away from her family. She was blown away that someone thanked her just for doing her job. I explained that I’m sure all the shoppers buying last minute items were thankful as well, but I wanted to actually express my thanks. So when we give thanks, let’s really GIVE thanks. Give it try.
