The Cold War may have ended, but the clash between American and Russian high-concept philosophical science-fiction from the 60s and 70s in the hearts of film-lovers will never end! "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Solaris" are both films that had a massive impact on the industry and the international audiences. Today the gang throws all respect and sophistication aside (they were never there in the first place) to ask the big question: who did it better? This week Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece is discussed, analyzed, and even criticized.
