Dr. Chhavi Chauhan (CC) is the Director of Scientific Outreach and Continuing Medical Education for the American Society of Investigative Pathology. CC is also a key member of the DPA educational and membership initiatives. She joins Beyond the Scope to discuss the ethical considerations for new applications of artificial intelligence in medicine, and the specific role pathologists will play in forming new standards. CC is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine, and importantly shares her vision, including how we can use large datasets, for a more globally connected and inclusive healthcare system.
