Fraud is becoming very commonplace in the real estate industry. From wire and notary fraud, all the way to the fraudulent sale of homes, all parties of the real estate transaction need to be diligent. In this episode, Lisa, a Realtor, talks about a previous transaction she had. In this case, a fraudster had made a false drivers license and tried to sell a vacant lot in the Lehigh Valley that was not his property.

Today we have a conversation with Lehigh Valley based Developer/Investor Borko Milosev. Principal Partner of Post Road management. His company owns over 1,500 units in and around the Lehigh Valley area. He is also a partner in 16,000 units across 15 states. 

Our guests this episode are two young realtors, Galina and Lily. They became best friends after meeting each other at the same real estate brokerage. They share their experiences in the real estate world and offer advice to first time homebuyers and new real estate agents.

Meet Richie Collazo, a young mortgage loan officer. Richie started in the business at the age of 18. He talks about the similarities and differences between himself, as a young loan officer, and the ones who have been in the business for decades.

Jason Peters, a realtor with Allentown City Realty, came to the Lehigh Valley after having a very successful career path in New York. Jay started from very humble beginnings, living in Trinidad until the age of 11. He came to the United States and settled in a very small apartment in New York City with his family.

Luis Romano is a Lehigh Valley Realtor with Allentown City Realty. Luis worked at an airport in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States at the age of 17 after making enough money for a plane ticket. Luis went to school in the US and received his certifications in technology and worked in the information technology field. Luis eventually hosted a radio show and podcast, which prompted him to become a real estate agent after discovering the enjoyment he felt from meeting and talking with people.

Katherine is a young realtor who just closed her first deal at 19 years old. She has great aspirations for her future as a real estate agent.

This week's episode is a short conversation with Nehemiah Lindo. Nehemiah is a real estate agent with Keller Williams. He decided to become a Realtor part time while also going to college. He became successful at his job in real estate and hired his wife as an assistant to help him. He eventually hired additional agents and formed a team. Today, Nehemiah leads a successful team of five, closing over 150 deals a year.

In this episode of beyond the closing, our guest Brad Modrich tells us his story. Brad is a successful entrepreneur, business owner, and motivational speaker. Brad started from humble beginning and was born and raised in Allentown, PA by a single mother. Brad was a high school dropout and eventually incarcerated. Those events have completely changed his world and mindset. He is committed to changing peoples lives and making a difference.“If you truly want to be successful, you must be willing to help as many people as possible without expecting anything in return. Do things for people who will never be able to repay you.”
