Our show is broken into eight segments. Here’s a breakdown of what goes down in today’s show! (Tip: you can easily move between segments using the chapter feature in your podcast app!)
The crew this morning: Zach, Boomer, and Connor in-house; Sandee joining remotely.
Segment 1: We open the show with our usual banter. We’re returning from a break, and getting back into the right sleep cycle has proven difficult.
Segment 2: We talk about our New Years Eves. Boomer went to a comedy show and Zach went bowling (Zach hates bowling, by the way).
Segment 3: Connor talks about his New Years Eve, and Zach talks about his upcoming medical procedure.
Segment 4: The first session of the 117th Congress opened with a prayer that ended in “Amen, and Awoman.” We talk about this.
Segment 5: Zach delivers a monologue on gender dysphoria, gender identity, gender roles, and more.
Segment 6: We talk about some of the negative connotations associated with tattoos and the importance of Christians to accept all people regardless of how they’ve customized their body.
Segment 7: We talk about the recently leaked call between President Trump and a representative for Georgia's Secretary of State. Was the president attempting to steal an election or just uphold election integrity?
Segment 8: As we wrap up the show, we take phone calls, talk about CNN's New Years Eve show, and welcome a new staff member.
