The crew this morning: Zach, Boomer, and Connor in-house; Sandee joining remotely (Segment 1-8). Ronald Gulick joins remotely for Segments 8-11. Will Hampson joins remotely for Segments 9-12.
Segment 1: We open the show with our usual banter. Zach and Boomer were both running behind, but it was all worth it for a hot sandwich slathered in butter. Boomer also talks about the only Christmas sweater he's ever owned.
Segment 2: We talk about unorthodox spellings of names.
Segment 3: Zach, Sandee, and Boomer share their road rage stories.
Segment 4: In recounting his reunion with an old friend, Zach gives a serious reflection on his journey in faith and the radical change that Christ brought to his life.
Segment 5: We hear from callers, including Carl from Athens, who shares his personal story of coming to faith.
Segment 6: Zach talks about the nature of competition in all facets of life, and how he's raising his son to be competitive.
Segment 7: We talk about the coldest settlement on planet Earth, and Zach seems like he'd be content to live there.
Segment 8: We are joined by frequent guest Ronald Gulick for a wide-ranging chat, which includes Ronald’s music career and Zach’s distaste for coffee.
Segment 9: Zach tells Ronald about our fan letter from jail.
Segment 10: Boomer talks to us about how our astrological signs supposedly align with our shopping habits. We’re not sure if the resemblance is really there, though.
Segment 11: We give high praise to Cici's pizza. Well, all of us except Ronald.
Segment 12: We talk about CNN's upcoming ABCs of COVID special with the cast of Sesame Street.
