Show notes

Our show is broken into eight segments.  Here’s a breakdown of what goes down in today’s show!  (Tip: you can easily move between segments using the chapter feature in your podcast app!)

The crew this morning: Zach, Boomer, and Connor in-house; Sandee joining remotely.

Segment 1: Zach is unusually energetic as he opens the show this morning, and Sandee thinks she’s losing her mind.

Segment 2: Boomer talks about a visitor he got while he was asleep in his car.

Segment 3: We talk about Joel Osteen and other extremely opulent megachurch pastors.

Segment 4: Dan from Madison recommends a pizza shop, Boomer talks about a child that was donated to Goodwill, and then we return to talking about megachurches.

Segment 5: We listen to Kenneth Copland’s laugh and try to figure out Creflo Dollar’s real name.

Segment 6: We thumb through some other topics before turning to a school in San Francisco that is dropping its namesake because he wasn’t racially progressive enough.  That man?  Abraham Lincoln.

Segment 7: We bring on friend of the show Grant Norvell, our Brooklyn correspondent, to talk the controversy surrounding Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Segment 8: As we wrap up the show, we talk about how Democrats are less willing to call out bad figures or ideas in their party.
