Our show is broken into eight segments. Here’s a breakdown of what goes down in today’s show! (Tip: you can easily move between segments using the chapter feature in your podcast app!)
The crew this morning: Zach, Clay “Freak Daddy” Coleman, Connor, and Sandee in studio.
Segment 1: We open the show with our usual banter. Will is eating yogurt now, and Zach lost a fantasy game. Also: are overall deaths down for 2020?
Segment 2: We talk about coronavirus, Saturday Night Live’s return, and the upcoming Vice Presidential debate.
Segments 3: We listen to Chris Wallace rant about the president not wearing a mask, then we comment on his thoughts and take a call from Dan in Madison about the VP debate.
Segment 4: We are joined by Steve Smith, candidate for Madison’s city council for the 2nd district, who faces his runoff opponent in tomorrow’s election. Steve is an experienced incumbent who has been a major factor in Madison’s rapid growth, and he has the official endorsement of Hometown Heartbeat!
Segment 5: We toss around a new name for Freak Daddy.
Segments 6 and 7: We are joined by Dustin Haraway of the Rayming James Financial Strategies Group for a conversation about his past career in sports and whether it’s a good idea for Zach to teach his kid about money through a family micro-economy.
Segment 8: Clay got compared to John Malkovich, and Zach is upset that neither Connor nor Sandee has seen Die Hard.
