Minnesota ranks No. 1 in the nation for funding of the arts - 'The Legacy Fund' also funds waters and wildlife preservation, joining land and culture together in a joint effort to protect and share what makes our state so special. I take a peak into Bemidji's Watermark Art Center with Executive Director Lori Forshee-Donnay to learn more about how small towns are showcasing big art.

Between Two Paddles is a new podcast brought to you by The Lake and Co., where we believe we’re only as good as the company we keep. We are an independent, bootstrapped, community-driven, women-owned company built on hard work, enthusiasm and a whole lot of grit. Listen in to hear the stories of people doing exceptional things in the North! I’m Kim Shelton and one of my great loves is storytelling - there are so many stories to be told by so many amazing people from the north, from entrepreneurs to homesteaders to comedians from the rez. A lot of folk up here think what they’re doing is pretty normal, they’re humble and unwilling to toot their own horn, so we're doing it for them. For the People, From the People.
