When our Veterans returned home from Vietnam, many of them faced attacks in airports and at the pier by people how felt entitled to label them baby killers, and the harm that inflicted on an entire generation of our servicemen and women is still echoing today. We run the risk of doing that same harm to an entire generation of our nations police officers.
