Show notes

Welcome back to Behind the Shedd. Well, today is different. Harold, Russ, and Wade sit down with a really good friend of ours, Mr. Bruce Guthrie. Bruce and Harold have been working on Harold's life story for an upcoming book. We sat down with Bruce, to discuss updates on the book and to give you a little background information on, Bruce. So usually, if we go to side bar to discuss something or figure something out, we edit that to keep from boring you guys to much. However, this episode goes sideways fairly quickly and we decided to leave it all in so you can get an idea of some behind the scenes from Behind the Shedd. So, it's our pleasure, Mr. Bruce Guthrie.

BIO
Bruce Guthrie is an award-winning journalist who has lived in three states including Arkansas, Missouri and Georgia. During his nearly 20-year career, Bruce has served as managing editor and sports editor for numerous publications. He and his wife, Dana, who is also a journalist, are based in Carrollton, Georgia. Bruce met Harold Shedd in 2021 during a meeting about an article for his 90th birthday. Being a Harold Shedd fan, Bruce and Harold hit it off and began discussing a book about Harold's life and career.
