This week I was joined via audio link with  Aisling McCarthy. Aisling is now an AFLW player for the West Coast Eagles side while also balancing her Gaelic career over in Ireland for her county side Tipperary. Aisling started her athletic journey from the age of seven and has risen through the Gaelic system to star her for county side at the age of 17. We discussed how she got introduced to AFL, her draft story and her move to Perth to play for West Coast. Aisling is a fierce competitor who is relishing her role in the midfield while getting comfortabke with the rules of the game.
