Waiting my whole life for this podcast!
I am devout podcast listener, and Adan's podcast is my all-time favorite. Great storytelling, fascinating human interest, brings history, medicine, and culture into focus, the perspective and relevant, easily digestible, I wish this were a high school course. Adam has a unique talent for highlighting what's appropriate and leaving out what's tedious, and his eagerness for the subject is more infectious than the diseases he depicts. And....Adam keeps getting better.

Medical history nerdisms
Great podcast, brings in the medical history that is often glossed over in medical school and illuminates the often obscure origins of its innovations. My only suggestion would be to give a mid episode pause! There have been episodes when I’ve been listening and I can feel my brain get tired from all the sustained attention and rapid listening. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Perhaps the perfect podcast for me
As a third year medical student and a holder of a BA with honors in medical history this was the podcast I never knew was seemingly designed with me in mind. A wonderful recent find I hope will be an enduring source of knowledge and entertainment.

Amazing show
I am a pediatrician who loves history like you. I love how you look at medicine through the eyes of history and remove some of the fog from our chosen vocation.

Thank you Dr. Rodman
Your podcast is highly entertaining and well written. I always learn something new that helps me understand how our current medical knowledge and practice is derived from the past. Your question/answer final chapter is a great way to wrap up each episode with interesting questions from your listeners. Thanks for all your hard work researching our medical past.

Wow
Best medical podcast I have ever listened to. I am a resident in family medicine and it is sooo cool to hear about the history of medicine and where all the things I was told was true came from. I tell anyone who will listen about the podcast. Top shelf sir, top shelf.

Great story telling with real sources!
Best of all worlds with great medical storytelling by a real doctor on interesting topics with insights that make you thnk. AND sources always provided, which should get 6 stars. I can't believe he has time to produce this while being a full-time medical resident.

Absolutely love this one.
Adam has a contagious enthusiasm for medical history, and his deep-dives into the topic are full of fascinating details rarely covered by others. If you're in the medical field, or just interested in the history of medicine, I can't recommend this podcast enough.

What a podcast should be
I recently discovered this podcast after seeing Dr Rodman’s excellent answer in r/askhistorians, and investigating his other works. In the past 2 days I have been listening nonstop, with each episode covering topics in meticulous detail and accuracy, infusing genuine insight, humor, and humanity into a subject that has often been made dry and unpalatable. As someone who enjoyed the earlier episodes of radiolab, but found the coverage rather shallow at times, “bedside rounds” delves into fascinating and controversial topics, without being mired in impregnable jargon. I look forward to listening to this podcast for many episodes to come!

Surprising content
Top notch podcast. When I subscribed, I expected something totally different, case studies, evidence based medicine, and the like. Instead, such a wonderfully researched and presented look at medical history. I am hooked, and sharing with my friends.

great find
Dr. Rodman's telling of medical history is riveting and his research is impressively thorough. I can't stop talking about the fun things I've learned. Dinner guests and patients alike have been subjected to my retellings of the Filth Parties and other bizarre and sometimes gross medical history.

Amazing podcast
This is an incredible production that goes into fascinating details about medicine, society and history. I am an internist but would recommend this anyone. I hope that these episodes get collected and released as a book as well.

Nirvana for the Medical History Nerd
I've loved medical history and narratives since picking up my first Berton Roueche book in fifth grade. I have a pretty good knowledge of medical history so even if I've heard the stories before, it's always cool to hear them from a different perspective. Adam makes my lunch-time just fly by. This pod is well worth your time if you have even a passing interest in the subject.

Educational and entertaining!
What I really appreciate about this podcast is that Adam manages to keep the conversation relevant to the topic while being entertaining. Part of me wishes the podcast episodes were always 20-30 minutes long, but then I couldn't listen to a whole episode on the way to work! The topics are super interesting and Adam is an excellent podcast host. I look forward to this podcast every week!

Listen to this podcast!
Pretty entertaining overall. It occasionally veers into being too medical for my tastes (but I'm not a doctor). My favorite episode so far has been "The Iceman" -- give it a listen!

Really hit its stride
This podcast has really hit its stride recently! Short, entertaining, enlightening stories from the history and present of medicine. As a doctor, most of these I either didn't know about, or was only aware tangentially. Really speaks to the human side of medicine.

The human side of medicine
A bit unpolished (but moreso as it goes along!), but Bedside Rounds really shines in showcasing the tidbits and interesting stories that show the human side of medicine.

Insightful, quick segments of information. Not at the sound quality of RadioLab but making giant strides with great potential in just a few episodes. Looking forward to upcoming episodes!
