On this episode of be unexpected Jake and Wyatt interview former Philadelphia Eagles Vince Papale. Vince whose football story was made into the movie “invincible with Mark Wahlberg” Vince goes to an open tryout for the Philadelphia Eagles and is best player there and is asked to come to training camp. Vince shared with Jake and Wyatt how before he tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles he played semi Pro Football. Vince was also a Highschool track coach for his alma mater. Vince talks about what it was like when he got to training camp and how nobody thought he'd make the team. How when he made the team he became one of the best players on special teams to where eventually he was named team captain of the special teams. Vince also shares with Jake and Wyatt what actually is real in the movie invincible and what Hollywood made up. Vince shares what the day to day of a NFL football player was like back in the 70’s. Today Vince says he enjoys watching his son live out his football dreams. How he runs his own speaking business and real estate business with his wife and daughter.
