On this episode of Be Unexpected Wyatt and Jake interview Fremont High school Football Coach Lee Jennings. Coach Jennings talks about how he got into sports growing up in  Columbus Nebraska . Jennings ran track and played football for Columbus High school. He continued his athletic career at Peru State where he played defensive back. Jennings shares how the coaches he had growing up made an impact on him and influenced him to go into a coaching After being an assistant  football coach for years. In 2020 Coach Jennings became the head  football coach at Fremont  High school. He talks about the adversity in that first year because of the pandemic and how his senior leaders really stepped up for the team. In Coach Jennings first season he took Fremont to the State playoffs where he won his first playoff game as the head coach.  Coach Jennings talks about how he not only wants his players to become good football players, but also learn how to be good men off the field.  Coach Jennings has made a huge impact on both of us during our time at Fremont High!
