Unfortunately with COVID still being a very new virus, our treatment options are still very limited and new treatments are still evolving.
The Delta variant is now more contagious than previous variants with a transmission rate that is 4-6 times higher than before. Meaning that instead of someone who is sick transmitting to 2-3 people, with the Delta variant, they are now transmitting to 8-10 people.
