Bryan is in conversation with non-profit strategist and national speaker Derrick Fleming Jr. They discuss Derrick's story of personal development that led him on the path to create and sustain a material impact on Chicago's South Side.

As a former White House Staff Member under the Obama Administration, now serving as the Managing Director of Strategic Engagement for Chicago Scholars; Derrick oversees corporate, college, community, and civic/government partnerships and engagement, in addition to managing strategic initiatives for Chicago Scholars. Derrick is also a social entrepreneur (The JUST BE campaign. and TGEL Enterprises) and serves in various national and local community/education leadership capacities. With nearly 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and government sectors focusing on education, social impact, youth development, and mentorship Derrick brings a level of problem-solving skills that sets everyone at ease and makes solutions-focused work feel like fun.
