In the wake of the mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs on Saturday, November 19th that left five people dead and dozens injured, Bryan host a conversation about the modern resistance to the queer liberation movement, the impact of extreme rhetoric towards the LGBTQ+ community by mainstream figures, and the role we can all play in building a progressive future.
Bryan is joined by Eric Wilkerson. Eric is the Founder & Principal of Wilkerson + Company, a nonprofit consulting firm that aims to advance an organization's mission by strengthening their strategic fundraising initiatives.
Prior to launching his company in 2021, Eric served in a formal capacity at multiple nonprofits that serve the LGBTQ community including a Chicago-based LGBTQ community center, Illinois' statewide LGBTQ civil rights group, and as a Chief Officer at an organization combating HIV/AIDS.
Eric currently serves on the Victory Fund Campaign Board & is also Midwest Caucus Chair for the organization. Additionally, Eric is on the Equality Illinois PAC board.
