We need your financial support for our business expenses (podcast / website / marketing / etc.).  We appreciate any amount of money you are willing to give to help continue are mission.  THANK YOU.https://bit.ly/3g7Rn1pMy email is [email protected] My website is https://www.conductingmylife.comFrom this riveting and insightful chapter:  Easily the most important of the NEA's strategies is that concerning the content of education, for the socialist revolution wanted by the progressives will have to be carried out by a younger generation indoctrinated in progressive, humanist values.  The road to the humanist curriculum began in 1918 with the NEA's Seven Cardinal Principles which stress humanist ethical values to replace those of traditional religion.  The expulsion of the Bible from the public school did not occur all at once.  The author of this book, who attended the public schools of New York City in the 1930s, remembers hearing the school principal open each weekly assembly with a short passage from the Bible, usually a Psalm.  When that practice stopped, is not known.I find the election results from November 8, 2022, to be very interesting.  Mark Thiessen points out:Fox News Pundit Declares, 'This Is an Absolute Disaster for the Republican Party' as Midterm Results Roll In (mediaite.com)This is my question about the NOVEMBER 8, 2022, ELECTION RESULTS:  Is there a chance that the direction of "Public" (Government) education played bigger role in these results? When you listen to the entire series on this FANTASTIC book, I do believe you will have an idea of the current situation in our BEAUTIFUL nation.   We are being purposely disorganized. This series will focus on Samuel L. Blumenfeld's NEA TROJAN HORSE IN AMERICAN EDUCATION (1984).  I cannot write that enough... this book was published in 1984.  What does the American Education system look like 38 years after the publication of this seminal work?  Frankly -- a little known work.  If I had read this book in 1989, I wonder how I would have felt about the American Education and / or the National Education Association?Another example of NEA pushing a social agenda versus an academic agenda is what they are supporting, such as this article indicates.   Schools To Host Black Lives Matter At School Week Which Teaches Kids About ‘Trans Affirmation,’ ‘Restorative Justice’ | The Daily CallerFrom 1989-2021, I taught high school music.  Three of those years, I was at a private school!  I have an understanding what the American Education has morphed into and now I have one idea (NEA TROJAN HORSE IN AMERICAN EDUCATION) how the American Education system is where it is today.   Teachers who actually will listen to this series, THANK YOU!  There will be many parts of the book that will challenge you.  Challenge you on ... what a load of crap Blumenfeld is or my goodness... I KNOW THIS IS HAPPENING TODAY and it was happening in 1984 and it is still happening over 38 years later?!Please consider giving the book a chance.  Learn where the angst towards the teachers / American Education System is coming from.  This book helps give an explanation for the angst.https://www.amazon.com/NEA-Trojan-Horse-American-Education/dp/091498103X/ref=sr_1_2?crid=30SHK1DU2M779&keywords=nea+trojan+horse+in+american+education&qid=1655841738&sprefix=NEA+trojan%2Caps%2C1408&sr=8-2
