Hannah J. Rule is Associate Professor of Composition and Rhetoric in the Department of English at the University of South Carolina. Her teaching and research focuses on the teaching of writing in postsecondary contexts, composition theory, and disciplinary histories. She is the author of Situating Writing Processes (2019), a new take on the trajectories of the process paradigm in composition studies. Her scholarship also appears in College Composition and Communication, Composition Studies, Composition Forum, as well as edited collections including Best of the Journals in Rhetoric & Composition 2018.
