A well researched, deep dive series of episodes on themes that are both interesting and fundamental to understand to truly capture the importance of the events. I truly appreciate this creator, as his passion permeates through. Amazing podcast.

I came across this gem the other day when looking for history lectures. This is excellent! I'm disappointed there aren't that many but boy are they informative, well researched, and entertaining. This is one of the best history podcasts out there if not THE best! Wish the site would be resurrected and more lectures would come. We need it with all the crap that is already polluting the podcast airwaves.

This podcast is presented in an entertaining way. My 10 year old listened to a particular episode for a history paper he was writing for school. It kept his attention for an hour- I was surprised by how much he retained as it’s not geared towards children. It gave him a better overall understanding of that historical event and he was then able to better comprehend details in books and online articles on the subject. I’m referring this podcast to his teachers. Keep it up!

Amazing! The Pearl Harbor episode has honestly changed how I see the whole war in the pacific during WWII. Every episode contains new and unbiased information that just plunges you into that time period. Thank you!

I'm not a podcast person but I love Stu's podcast! It's engaging and good humored but also fascinating and informative. If you're looking for a podcast that will teach you a bunch of cool stuff you didn't know before AND will make you smile, I highly suggest this one!

This is a great podcast for those interested in learning more about some of the many fasicnating events in history including the crossing of the Mayflower, the Salem Witch Trials, and Darwin's Origin of Species. You can tell that the presenter does a great deal of research before each presentation and loves sharing his knowledge with his audience. I highly recommend this podcast!

This is not your 5th grade history teacher droning on stuff. This is such good information put together that you could take hours reaching, but he did it for you. He also makes it interesting to hear about and is very entertaining. Give it a go. You will love it too.

Backtrack History makes history relatable and digestible. I love the different approaches Stu takes to well-known historical issues, the questions and stories he shares that link that event with life today, and how he summarizes his thorough research in a concise and memorable way. A delight to listen to.
