Debjani Mukherjee is an animation filmmaker, author, researcher and educator. She explores different art styles and experiments with stop-motion animation and picture books as a narrative medium. She is the co-founder of BOL - The Language of Children, a not-for-profit organisation which engages community youth with art, contributing towards community filmmaking and empowering them to share their own stories through the medium of art.
