“I was born and brought up in a Sikkimese family in Gangtok, Sikkim and was trained as a product designer from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad (2000 joining). I along with fellow NIDians (Tenzing Nyentsey, Karma Palzor, Ranveer Singh, Karma Sonam and Chewang Rinchen Lepcha) set up a design consultancy called @echostream.sikkim in the year 2008 in Gangtok. The idea was to come back to Sikkim and set up a multidisciplinary design studio in Sikkim and make design an integral part of development and planning in Sikkim.”
