In March 2022, Eric Richins wife Kouri called 911 after she reportedly found him unresponsive in their bed at their home in Utah. When police arrived, Kouri Richins told authorities that she had made him a Moscow mule the evening before & found him cold to the touch in the middle of the night

The medical examiner found Eric Richins died of a fentanyl overdose

After his death, his wife Kouri went on to write a children's book titled 'Are You With Me?' in hopes it would comfort the couples 3 grieving sons. Kouri recently appeared on TV promoting the book in Utah

But recently, the entire case was flipped upside down when Kouri herself was charged with aggravated murder in the death of her husband Eric. Police believe she spiked his drink & murdered him
