Arthur Vernon Macan was a Champion Golfer, a World War I veteran and most notably a celebrated golf course architect.&nbsp; Macan is credited with designing numerous golf courses in the Pacific Northwest and is arguably the most important person to ever walk the fairways of Royal Colwood.
