Meet Lauren Friis. She's a small business owner of a new store in downtown Mill Valley, CA, called Surf And Sand. Before owning a retail boutique centered around coastal living and sustainability, Lauren worked in the tech, nonprofit, and design industries for over 16 years. She is a California coastal girl at heart, having grown up in San Diego on the beach. Lauren is a proud mother to her 7-year- old son and is newly married.
