In October 2024, ATLANTIC FELLOWS from around the world gathered in Bogotá, COLOMBIA, for a CLIMATE ACTION CONVENING on planetary health and a just transition.  The Convening was co-hosted by Colombian human rights organisation DEJUSTICIA, whose work includes campaigning for environmental justice.  

In this podcast, KHALIL GOGA, Associate Executive Director for Community Engagement, Programming & Impact at the ATLANTIC INSTITUTE, sets the scene for the Convening: the impetus behind it, why it was held in Colombia, and the programme for the week.
