Today’s episode comes from our panelist Marissa Adams (she/her), an Intersex Christian. Marissa shares about Intersex experiences in the church and some of the difficulties that Intersex people face in faith communities. Many Christians are uncomfortable discussing Intersex identities, which can be very isolating and stigmatizing for Intersex people. She encourages Christians to educate themselves about Intersex identity and view Intersex people as equal bearers of God’s image.
