Why is Jesus called the son of David when he doesn't even have David's blood? It is Joseph's bloodline that can be traced to David but also he didn't have any hand in Jesus birth. Isn't Mary's family supposed to be the focus of Jesus' genealogy? Is her family even mentioned at all? Or is the Bible sexist? Is Christianity sexist?
