Daniel interviewed Aki, a new game designer based in Tokyo, about their debut game Rising Action!Rising Action is a roleplaying game for two players where you play a pair of rivals having an ever-escalating battle where their past and passions collide. Inspired by action anime and JRPG cutscenes, it is designed to produce dramatic encounters that can be played in 1-2 hours from character creation to the end of the fight.
