Have you ever found yourself approaching a new level of your life and then a wave of challenging emotions surface up? You're not alone. Today I'm listing and talking through the 5 steps I've learned to apply over time to conquer my mind in these battle moments:

1. Feel them
2. Express them to a trusted confidante
3. Affirm yourself by writing and/or speaking
4. Take swift action
5. Accept that these emotions will come and go
