One of the things I take very seriously are my friendships. I’m not always the best friend, and I lack in many areas, so this podcast is as much of a reminder for me as it is for anyone else listening, but I treasure my friends so very much! Cultivating true and meaningful friendships takes work, just like a marriage or raising children takes work. It’s work that’s WORTH it. God did not mean for us to live in isolation, He created us to want and desire community and relationships with others.
Jesus is our ultimate and perfect example of a friend and He gives us so many examples and instructions on friendship through his word.
Through this two part podcast we will discuss what I believe are 4 pillars of friendship: Loyalty, Trustworthiness, Honesty and Love. Today we will cover the first two pillars!
