The two challenges we're addressing relate to the Fire Alarm industry, and the Commercial Burg industries. In this episode we'll talk a little about how other manufacturers have struggled getting products to us. Not only is it a burg system, it's capable of wireless burg, and ADDRESSABLE burg, and of course, conventional burg. Add automation to this with a simple module (or the right communicator), and you get zwave integration. You may be thinking: this system can't possibly be a high quality system. It is! It's been around and used in the field for a very long time. The cherry on top is the ability to 2-way program these systems with Napco's Starlink communicators. We'll be doing a future episode on those, but suffice it to say, the offering is very powerful. Things have become tricky with all of the price increases and manufacturing anomalies that seem to have plagued the Honeywell fire lines (Silent Knight, System Sensor, and Fire Lite). Our own price lists saw almost 30% increases accross the board for all Honeywell-fire parts! This is incredible! We don't mean to brag, but the great news is, we have better answers to solve this conundrum than almost all other distributors.
