STOP ROMANTICISING VILLAINS. This episode is all about that and although they may be charming, they really do be manipulative and that is NOT a relationship we want to condone. You can tell this episode is pretty serious, but buckle up cause it’s an important topic to talk about!

If you ignore the books written by Rick Riordan, the movies were tolerable. But it wasn’t. So end of story, it was an abomination. OH AND. Nicole and Esther talk about Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings, but that’s not important.

In this episode, we were originally supposed to talk about the ripple effect in fictional works but then um, we went pretty deep into the origins of all the folklore, myths, and legends that made up the fantastical creatures in all of our favorite fantasy and supernatural genres. Wow, that was a long sentence. So is this episode. Hopefully, you don’t fall asleep :D

Our obsession with the Shadow and Bone Netflix series and Grishaverse series by Leigh Bardugo may get a little bit overwhelming. But trust us, it’s all worth it in the end. So enjoy this long episode of us fangirling over the whole thing. :)
