If anyone is to be saved it will only ever be because the Holy Spirit drew them and pointed them to the salvation that God offers us through Christ. Jesus said, “No man can come to me, unless the Father who has sent me draws him…” (John 6:44) And the Father accomplishes this by the power and the activity of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the agent of God, sent to fulfill God’s purposes in salvation. This is a public episode.
