What exactly IS the gift of God?
When Jesus met the woman at the well in John 4, he was seeking to avoid the attention of the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem.  Tired, he sits down and makes and incredible offer to an untouchable woman.  That same offer is available to you, as well.  Are you in?

There is only one Body of Christ, and Jesus calls us to love and bear with one another--not war with one another over doctrines and associations and denominations and brands.
The Apostle's Mailbox is a podcast for challenging the church of Jesus Christ towards unity, through topical addresses and expository teaching from an ex-pastor with a desire to see the Bride of Christ healthy and ready for the coming of the groom. My background is broadly evangelical, but I have a bent towards learning and growth rather than defending the traditions of one segment of the global body of Christ--I'd rather have the Spirit of God use the Word of God to change my understanding than remain stagnant in a mistaken belief.
