⚜️🌾🎙Franco-Albertan...That's a Thing? Welcome to Episode 4, where we explore one of Alberta's most curious minorities - the Franco-Albertan. Our guest is Joelle Croteau-Willard, who has a proud and very Albertan story in the realm of being a Francophone. Joelle's heritage includes one of the first residents of Bonnyville, and on both sides, has prominent chuckwagon racing legacy. She also has a cousin who is a Francophone musician and one who started the Flying Canoe Festival. Learn more about the dynamics, the history, and the people that make up French Alberta - a population of over 80,000 throughout our province.
