Show notes
At the Spittelau incinerator in Vienna, thousands of tons of waste are collected to then being burnt, supplying more than 50.000 households with electricity. For our editor Florenz, the 126 meter high tower designed by one-of-a-kind architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser is at its core a product of the Anthropocene. Yet the somewhat funny-looking building reflects this in a smart way and could be a role model for future city planning.
