(Here they discuss the first of the film's many amazing scene transitions, taking us from the parking garage of Madison Square Garden circa 1986 to the highlands of Scotland in the Year of Our Lord 1536. Highlights include Rob W's utter failure to introduce himself, the youthful charm of the male knee, the winning avunicularity of James Cosmo, Highlander's slandering of Kurgan society, false cognates, Birdgate, and the disposability of the female perspective within the film's overarching narrative. It might boil down to three men crossing a bridge and a couple of neat camera moves, but boy, there's a lot to chew on here.
