The future isn’t looking too bright in 1991’s Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. With the Anti-Nuclear Energy Bacteria having failed to stop Godzilla, Japan faces certain doom if the kaiju makes landfall again. Suddenly, a group of visitors arrive from the future and offer a solution: they will travel back in time to kill Godzilla before atomic radiation made him the monster he is today. But can history actually be rewritten? Or was Godzilla always destined to return in 1984? And while the Futurians claim to be on a mission to save Japan from the King of the Monsters, is their true goal to put a very different tyrant on the throne?
